Our FSPCA lead instructor uses FDA-recognized materials in order to prepare our students to be a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) in compliance with FSMA’s Preventive Controls for Human Food rule. Students will learn and discuss various real-life industry examples as well as practice developing and apply risk-based preventive controls in order to implement a food safety program as required by the FDA.
Upon completing this course, participants will receive an FSPCA-issued certificate to reflect completion of this FDA-recognized PCQI training.
Mastering FSMA Compliance: Your Toolkit for PCQI Training

It is helpful if participants have a general knowledge of GMPs and HACCP. If students have prior experience with food safety systems it will also help them to participate in this training. However, these topics will be covered during the training as well.
