COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Blended Part 2 FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCQI)—official FSPCA training.
This Blended Part 2 PCQI course has been developed by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA). Freshield Food Safety leads “Part 2: The Instructor Led Course.” This sign-up is for PART 2 of the FSPCA Blended Course. This Part 2 PCQI blended training is a ONE-day, live, remote training via Zoom.
This two-part training is known as the “Blended Course Option” for PCQI training. For more information about the PCQI blended course structure, please visit the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance. Freshield Food Safety offers FSPCA PCQI certification online for the food manufacturing industry.
WHAT WE WILL COVER:
The Food Companies subject to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act must make sure that their food safety plan is developed, implemented, and maintained by a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI). The Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-based Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation is intended to ensure safe manufacturing, processing, packing and holding of food products for human consumption in the United States.
CERTIFICATE COMPLETION:
Participants who successfully complete this Blended Part 2 PCQI training will receive an official FSPCA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certificate which is one way to fulfill the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requirements for a “Preventive Controls Qualified Individual” (PCQI). Participants will also gain access to one 60-minute food safety strategy session with our food safety expert as well as free food safety program digital downloads.
PREREQUITISES:
Before attending this Blended Part 2 PCQI training with us via Zoom, you must complete Part 1 of the FSPCA Blended course. To complete “Part 1: Online Course,” please click here. You must take the online self-guided course (Part 1) before attending this live, interactive online session (Part 2). This two-part PCQI training option is known as the Blended Course Option.
